Scots Win Warm-Up Game
The Highland Park boys basketball team snapped its two-game losing streak by knocking off Wills Point, 42-35, in a playoff warm-up game on Friday night at Royse City.
The Scots (17-13) will take on Sherman (19-11) in a bi-district game at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at McKinney Boyd. HP has won six of its last eight games heading into the postseason.
Sherman ended the Scots’ season in the third round of last year’s playoffs with a 54-31 win at R.L. Turner.
