SMU professor Jasper Smits is at work on a new smoking cessation study related to stress management, and if you can use his help, he could use yours.

“Individuals who smoke when they are stressed or depressed don’t tend to fare well with traditional treatments because nicotine withdrawal is characterized by the very sensations they try to alleviate through smoking,” said Smits, whose study, the Smoking Termination Enhance Project, will focus on exercise and wellness routines.
