Illya Roberts, author of Twelve Months of New Orleans Cooking, will visit Cork in the West Village from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The NBC Channel 5 employee penned the book, which features Creole recipes that compliment each month of the year, as a homage to her native city. Roberts details how to make seasonal varieties of “Big Easy” entrees with a Creole and Italian fusion flavor. We’re talking dishes like butter spaghetti with shrimp and mushrooms. My mouth is watering just typing that. The best part is that guests of the signing will get to some of the yummy recipes. If they serve gumbo, I’m a goner! Go here for more info.
