Neither are scary unless you’re driving after midnight on the Tollway and a wrong-way driver is approaching you.

Central has way more irresponsible and erratic drivers. The tollway has more speeders, but they seem to be better drivers overall.

Even though Central is enormously better since the rebuild, it’s still scarier than the Tollway. Except Like @Avid said – the late night wrong way drivers on the Tollway are the scariest thing there is.

Central – especially late at night when the motorcycle gangs take it over.

The high-five makes Central far scarier than the Tollway in my book.

I vote for Central as well. I drove back here from Paris and took the HOV lane starting way north of the High Five and was a nervous wreck by the time I got out of there. Add in the fact that no one lets you over when you try to change lanes, 18 wheelers abound and those on the access road don’t yield. Ever. Prime example is trying to exit at Knox and you want to turn right on Knox.
