Simpson — Dunn

Mr. and Mrs. D. Timothy Simpson of Tyler are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nellie Woolf Simpson, to William Byron Dunn Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Byron Dunn of Dallas.

The bride is a graduate of Tyler’s Robert E. Lee High School and received her B.A. from the Neely School of Business at Texas Christian University. She is currently employed by Trademark Property Co. in Fort Worth.

The groom is a graduate of Highland Park High School and received his B.A. from Texas Christian University. He is employed by Quicksilver Resources in Fort Worth.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. & Mrs. James W. Arnold of Tyler and the late Mr. & Mrs. Fred Simpson from McAllen.

The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Dorothy Finger and the late Mr. George W. Finger of El Paso, and the grandson of Mrs. JoAnn Dunn and the late Mr. Byron G. Dunn of Dallas.

Byron and Nellie were engaged Dec. 22 on the TCU campus at Amon G. Carter Stadium, where they first met. A wedding ceremony is planned for June 18, at Christ’s Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth.
