If your son has an excess amount of time, energy, and/or aggression, there’s a solution in sight. Send him to Hillcrest High School from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday for a youth lacrosse development clinic. There’s no cost, and the boys from fourth grade through high school will learn the fundamentals of catching, passing, and cradling from state championship coach Bill Elliot.
As lacrosse is a club sport at Hillcrest, students from any DISD school (or a private one without a lacrosse team) are welcome. If you can’t make it this Sunday, the clinic is also offerred Dec. 11.
UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, Sunday’s clinic is cancelled. The Dec. 11 event is still on.
