University Park Elementary partnered with Neiman Marcus to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of Vogel Alcove, a Dallas day care center for children of homeless families and poverty. Third and fourth graders were invited to design and create 10 pieces of a collective sculpture, all designed by students around the metroplex. The finished pieces will all be joined together to create a larger sculpture that will be displayed in the lobby of the Meyerson Symphony Hall during this year’s charity gala benefitting Vogel Alcove on May 14.
