Two Burglaries at Highland Park Municipal Pool

Between 11:08 and 11:37 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, burglars broke into a white 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe at the Highland Park Municipal Pool in the 3800 block of Lexington Avenue and stole Louis Vuitton purse, a collection of gift cards, a pair of prescription glasses, and a checkbook.

The burglars then made their way over to a silver 2005 Jaguar XJ and stole a tan Butta Bag purse, a brown Yves Saint Laurent wallet, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of reading glasses, $60 cash, and four credit cards.

A pool attendee spotted two men near the area around the times the burglaries were committed and, in both cases, the purses and items were visible in the car.

Exactly Edward! Hard to feel too much sympathy for these people when it’s out there for anyone to see!

I read the police blotter every week in the PCP. So many people leave valuables in their cars and get them stolen. Slow learners.
