Highland Park Expected to Approve Construction Manager For Town Hall Remodel Next Week

Remember back in June, when Highland Park fired its town hall remodel contractor Von Gallagher?

Well, since then, the town council’s put its heads together to try and find ways to get the project back within budget. Or, maybe I should say closer to that budget. One of those ways is actually spending more money, by hiring a construction manager to oversee all the bids and whatnot.

After vetting four different firms, the town’s expected to approve the hire of Pritchard Associates, during a special council meeting at 8 a.m., Tuesday.

The contract is for a flat, $550,000 fee, plus expenses.

    for pete’s sake,
    pritchard associates is top notch.
now if they can just reduce the
number of architects from two to
one, they might be able to get
    the project under control.
