Yavneh Academy Has A New Athletic Director
Yavneh Academy has hired a new athletic director who is deeply rooted in both Preston Hollow and the Jewish community. David Zimmerman was formerly the assistant coach at St. Mark’s, ESD, and SMU, and his father is the senior rabbi at Temple Emanu-El.
Zimmerman graduated from Booker T. Washington than received his degree from SMU.He started at Yavneh last week, and will also be the boys varsity basketball coach, and the director of co-curricular activities.
“Coaching, really, is teaching – and this position will allow me to bring together all that I love deeply,” Zimmerman said in a press release.
