Replay Sports Collects Record Amount
We’ve received word that last Saturday’s Replay Sports donation drive was the most successful in the charity’s history. Ten boxes of used sports equipment were collected at Highland Park High School, and all of the football equipment was delivered to Viking Sports, a Pop Warner team in South Dallas.
“When the truck drove up, the team of enthusiastic boys came running over to receive their cleats, helments, pads, footballs, and gloves,” said DeEtte Peters. “The timing was perfect, as the boys had already started practices for this year.”
A second donation drive is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon this Saturday at Highland Park Middle School.
