A month has come and gone since The Pilates Barre opened its Preston Forest location. During that month, I’ve consumed innumerable fall goodies (looking at you, pumpkin spice latte, Williams-Sonoma pumpkin pancake mix, pumpkin flavored Hershey Kiss, et al). And it’s not even Halloween yet.
Although The Pilates Barre’s new location is no longer offering free intro classes, it put exercise back on my radar and got me thinking: To prep for Thanksgiving (ahem…pumpkin pie), I’m going to do Pilates. A lot of it. As in, three classes at three different studios. And then I’m going to write about it.
I’ve already attended a class at The Pilates Barre in University Park (um, ouch), and have plans to swing by Pilates Connection and Body Bar this week. From what I’ve seen online, each studio offers something a little different. If you’re curious about my findings, you’ll find the full story in the Nov. 2 issue of Park Cities People…if I’ve still got enough energy left to write it after this week, that is.
