The big District 10-4A baseball showdown between Highland Park and Forney has been postponed from tonight to 5 p.m. Monday in Forney because of weather.

The Jackrabbits (14-6, 6-1) are slated to throw Wichita State signee Cody Tyler, while the Scots (10-13, 5-2) will counter with Oklahoma State signee Matt Wilson. Both are lefties. The two also met in the district opener at Scotland Yard, which Forney won 4-2.

Before that game, however, the Scots will host North Forney (1-14, 0-6) at 7:30 Friday night. Highland Park will also take on Denton Guyer (9-14) in a non-district game at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco. And after facing Frisco on Monday, the Scots will turn right around and play Poteet on Tuesday night at home, giving them four games in five days.
