On May 15 the city of Granbury, Texas was torn apart by some of the many devastating tornados the South has experienced this Spring season. The students of St. Mark’s photography program have found a creative way to help out — through selling their photographs. Over 100 original shots will be for sale at Banks Fine Art gallery (1313 Slocum St) on Thursday, June 13 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

All proceeds will benefit the Habitat for Humanity of Hood County, where 100% of the habitat homes were damaged by the storms.

The 13 photographers who will have art on display are all part of the honors photography program at St. Mark’s. They have collectively won over 200 individual awards — and four of them were designated in the top ten high school photographers by the Association of Texas Photography Instructors.
