This year Highland Park Village is trying out something new on Sunday afternoons — a summer concert series. But for the event to come to fruition, they need your help. . . if you’re a musical artist, that is.
Groups interested in playing at the Village should submit a video of their work to firstname.lastname@example.org by June 14th. Finalists will receive a spot on their blog, Style & Social, where the public will vote on who they want to see perform under the clock tower.
For those of you who aren’t artists, this sounds like a pretty family-friendly (and fun!) event. Attendees will lounge under the clock tower while soaking up the local tunes, and chill out with some free Paciugo Gelato. If the gelato doesn’t cool you down enough, keep in mind that you’re close enough to run over to Mi Cocina for a Mambo Taxi (or two).
Update: We are still waiting for dates and times, as soon as they are announced I will let you know.
