It will be anything but a typical football game for Parish Episcopal and Shelton when the teams battle in a TAPPS Division II, District 2 contest on Oct. 18.

Rather than being played at Carrollton Prince of Peace, where the Chargers play most of their home games, the contest will instead be played at AT&T Stadium. I’m going out on a limb and guessing there’ll be plenty of good seats available.

Shelton has a pretty good connection with the Cowboys, which I’m sure helped accommodate the move. The team’s head coach is former Cowboy George Teague.

Parish (2-3, 1-1) plays Tyler T.K. Gorman at home tomorrow night, while Shelton (0-4, 0-2) is at Tyler Grace Community. Both games are at 7:30 p.m.
