More Road Work on Mockingbird Near SMU
Traffic along an already congested stretch of roadway will likely get worse during the next three weeks, as crews perform work as part of an ongoing project in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane near the SMU campus.
That means there will be temporary lane closures and modifications in both directions, usually from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, at least through the end of October. Planning an alternate route is advised.
Crews will work on sidewalks, curbs, and gutters. For more information, you can contact the Town of Highland Park engineering department.
