HPISD Opens ‘Flu Clinic’ on Wednesday

flu-clipart-22_flu2 copyHighland Park ISD is trying a proactive approach to health during the upcoming flu season. The district will emphasize preventative care during a “flu clinic” from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the 7/8 Assembly Room at Highland Park Middle School.

The Health Matters clinic will offer flu shots for $25 each and the FluMist nasal-spray vaccine for $35 per dose. It’s open to the community, regardless of whether families currently have children in the district, and most insurance plans are accepted.

You can get a FREE flu shot at Tom Thumb, CVS, etc. – most insurance will cover it.
