St. Mark’s and Hockaday each earned team titles at the SPC fall championships on Saturday, with the Lions winning the boys volleyball title for the third consecutive year and Hockaday earning the field hockey crown for the first time since 2011.

St. Mark’s won the boys volleyball tournament at Greenhill with a thrilling five-set triumph over Oklahoma City Casady in the championship match. The Lions, who were the top seed entering the weekend, swept San Antonio St. Mary’s Hall in the first round and host Greenhill in the semifinals.

In field hockey, Hockaday shut out all three of its opponents by identical 1-0 scores during the tournament, including Kinkaid in the title game. Hockaday, which was playing on its home field, also topped Fort Worth All Saints in the quarterfinals and upset Houston St. John’s in the semifinals.
