Cambridge Athletes Nominated For Award
Four students at Cambridge School of Dallas are semifinalists for the annual Texas Christian Athlete of the Year award.
Shawn Ervin, Caroline Kirchen, Kira McBride, and Johnson Thweatt were chosen from more than 4,000 applicants from more than 1,300 schools. The award is sponsored by Lay Witnesses for Christ, an international sports ministry.
Among the 75 male and female semifinalists, 10 will be named as finalists and the winners will be selected at a luncheon on March 16 in Irving.
