Lamplighter students picked up a few more stamps on their passports, thanks to the school’s International Night on April 9.

The 12th annual event, presented by the Lamplighter Parents’ Association, invited students to an international adventure with food, crafts, and live entertainment. Kids and their parents picked up a passport to visit the 25 countries represented at the event. Scottish bagpiper Scott Shannon lead a parade through campus, the first global experience of the evening.

“What an amazing night for Lamplighter families who were able to ‘travel around the world,’ sampling ethnic cuisine and experiencing diverse cultures, right here on campus,” said Dr. Joan Hill, Lamplighter Head of School.

Among the big hits of evening were learning origami, watching dance troupe performances, and getting temporary henna tattoos.
