West Nile Samples Leave City in a Fog

Fight Bite MosquitoWe’re not out of the woods just yet, as far as mosquitoes are concerned.

Three more samples in University Park have tested positive for West Nile Virus, and the city will continue an aggressive fogging schedule this week in response.

The positive samples were adjacent to Caruth Park, Highland Park Middle School, and the SMU campus. So city crews will fog at SMU after 11 p.m. tonight and Sept. 28, and at all city parks and Highland Park ISD campuses after 9 p.m. on Sept. 18 and Sept. 24.
