On Aug. 19, NorthPark announced a new giving initiative in honor of their 50th anniversary called NorthPark50: Fifty Years of Giving. In the initiative, the center will donate to 50 organizations over a period of 50 days. Here, you can see some updates so far:
Dallas CASA was the first recipient, which included replacing NorthPark’s billboard at Central Expressway and Walnut Hill Lane with one for CASA.
“NorthPark’s gift of well-placed billboards publicizing the call to become a child’s advocate will have an enormous impact on our ability to recruit more community volunteers,” Dallas CASA Executive Director and President Kathleen LaValle said.
Other recent recipients include the Crow Collection of Asian Art, Children’s Health, Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Irving, and Children’s Craniofacial Association.
