HPHS Gets Third in Academic Decathlon
The Highland Park High School Academic Decathlon team competed in the Rockwall Invitational Meet on Oct. 24.
Forty-six teams competed, and more than 800 students. HPHS won the third-place team trophy, with a total score of 33,954.
Michael Hodak won first place for top individual score in the Honors Division with a total of 6,582, and Michael Xie placed third overall in the Honors Division with 6,371.
Raef Rothschild placed third overall in the Scholastic Division with a score of 5,671.
