One of St. Mark’s own will make an appearance at the Dallas Festival of Ideas coming up in February.
John Mead, the Eugene McDermott Master Teacher of Science at St. Mark’s, will appear as a panelist for the education portion of the festival, discussing how Dallas can educate more enlightened citizens. Mead’s recent academic accomplishment sent him to South Africa to work with the scientist who discovered a new species of human ancestor. Check out the full story from the November issue here.
The Dallas Festival of Ideas will take place at Fair Park from Feb. 19 to Feb. 20. General admission to the event is free, with VIP tickets available for $195.
