TWU Award To Honor PC Legacy

PC resident Francie Moody-Dahlberg will be honored on Feb. 10 for the 14th Annual Virginia Chandler Dykes Leadership Award by Texas Woman’s University.

Dahlberg was announced as the honoree at the home of last year’s recipient, Ralph Hawkins, on Oct. 6.

The Virginia Chandler Dykes Leadership Award was designed to recognize Dallas leaders who have shown a lifelong commitment to improving the quality of life in the community and stressing the importance of education.

Named after TWU alumna Virginia Chandler Dykes, the award is bestowed in honor of her work in the health care profession, with a steadfast dedication to helping others.

Dahlberg has spent her life continuing the her family legacy at the Moody Foundation, which supports many projects aimed to benefit Texans.
