Young Coders to Get Hack[ED at Parish

Future coders and app/game developers are invited to congregate at Parish Episcopal School Feb. 26-27 to learn from industry leaders such as Fossil’s wearables architect Kevin Harris, and SMU’s design and innovation professor Gray Garmon.

Parish is partnering with the North Texas Enterprise Center, the Guild of Software Architects, and iLLUMINATE STEM to host Hack|ED NTX. There are two ways to participate: experienced coders can compete in the hackathon in which they will design, build, and pitch apps for wearable tech; and middle and high schoolers with little to no experience can learn the basics of app development and network with professionals.

WHEN:
Feb. 26, 5 to 10 p.m.
