At 1:34 a.m. on Feb. 24, two burglars broke into the Men’s Warehouse in the 9100 block of North Central Expressway and stole $13,000 of merchandise.

According to a witness, two males backed a red Dodge truck to the front of the store, and one threw a metal object through a large glass panel, shattering the window. The men placed the stolen merchandise in the bed of the truck and fled.

After undercover officers saw a vehicle matching the description, uniformed officers conducted a traffic stop in the 4300 block of Julius Schepps Freeway, and the suspects were taken into custody. The two men, Travis DeWayne Crowder, 38, and Brenson Dudley Smith, 44, have not yet been charged.
