Judge Barbara Lynn to Speak to Altrusa Club
The local chapter of Altrusa International is celebrating National Women’s History Month by hosting U.S. District Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn on March 2.
Lynn will speak about the role of women in government and public service, something she knows a fair amount about. Since 1999, she has served the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Lynn received her J.D. at SMU’s Dedman School of Law.
The luncheon will be at the Old Red Museum at 11:30 a.m. The honorary chair is retired Associate Justice Frances Maloney of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
