Art can be found in the most unexpected places. Hockadaisy Claire Marucci and Greenhill’s Lily Duggan’s submissions for the eighth annual Retail as Art demonstrate that.

Marucci’s piece, “Nocturnal Evening,” won first place, awarding the Hockadaisy a $5,000 scholarship. Greenhill’s Lily Duggan’s piece “Reflections” tied for third, awarding her a $1,000 scholarship.

Founded by CBRE Chairman of Retail Services Americas Mickey Ashmore, Retail as Art is a photography scholarship competition open to all Dallas-Fort Worth high school students. More than 124 students submitted photographs for this years exhibition.

Along with Marucci and Duggan, Retail as Art was able to award $22,000 in college scholarships to 14 students.
