White Party For the Wilkinson Center
Young Friends of Wilkinson Center hosted the White Party, their biggest fundraiser of the year, at 6500 Cedar Springs June 4. More than 900 people came out to show their support.
Gro Designs and Code Blue Sound and Entertainment transformed the space with their décor and lighting into a jungle/Miami Beach oasis theme. Guests danced the night away to mixes provided by DJ Souljah.
Throughout the night, samba dancers formed a salsa line and danced through the venue playing their bongo drums and tambourines while confetti cannons and cryo machines went off.
The event benefited the Wilkinson Center, which helps over 14,000 people annually find pathways out of poverty.
