HP Has Strong Bass Line in Opening Tourney

The Highland Park anglers looked sharp and caught the fish to back it up at a recent tournament on Lake Lewisville.

Highland Park reeled in a runner-up finish at its first bass fishing tournament of the season, held recently at Lake Lewisville.

The Scots were second among 38 schools, and had three boats place in the top 17 out of 264 overall. The top HP tandem was Cole Jackson and Rhodes Baker, who were 15th with 12.18 pounds at weigh-in.

The HP anglers will return to action at a tournament on Lake Granbury on Oct. 22.
