Skulduggery of the Week: Ring It In

24 MONDAY
At 9:22 a.m., a victim reported that a thief stole a $35,000 ring from a house in the 4100 block of Amherst Street between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Oct. 17.

HIGHLAND PARK

25 TUESDAY
At 3 a.m., Aurelio Rene Hernandez, 33, of Dallas, and Joshua Espinosa, 38, of Dallas, were arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in the 4300 block of Wycliff Avenue.

At 4:05 p.m., a thief stole a $100 black Husky tool bag with $1,100 worth of tools from a residential construction site in the 3200 block of Princeton Street.

28 FRIDAY
At 5:16 a.m., Anthony Fonseca was arrested in the 4900 block of Hillcrest Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest.

UNIVERSITY PARK

26 WEDNESDAY
Between 8:55 a.m. and 4:47 p.m., a thief stole property from a house in the 3400 block of Normandy Avenue.

27 THURSDAY
Between 3:30 p.m. Oct. 26 and 7:56 a.m. Oct. 27, a vandal damaged a white 2015 KAWK Ninja 300 motorcycle in the parking garage of Highland Park High School.

28 FRIDAY
Between 6 p.m. Oct. 23 and 9:30 p.m. Oct. 28, a thief stole an $800 scooter from a porch in the 4500 block of Emerson Avenue.

29 SATURDAY
At 4:21 p.m., a thief stole two rings worth a total of $2,000 and a $30,000 ring from a victim in Snider Plaza.
