Christmas Arrives in Highland Park
The first day of December ushered in the annual lighting of the Highland Park town Christmas tree. Residents gathered at “The Big Pecan Tree” on Armstrong Avenue to see Mayor Joel Williams flip the switch on over 5000 lights. Festival goers enjoyed several town-sponsored attractions including face painting, a live reindeer, and a visit from Santa Claus.
