Jake Oliver, who set receiving records during a standout high school career at Jesuit, apparently is done playing college football.

According to multiple reports, Oliver is set to graduate in May from the University of Texas and won’t stick around for his senior season in the fall.

He announced the decision after meeting with new Longhorns coach Tom Herman, and will focus on future job opportunities outside of football.

“After giving it a lot of thought with my family, I’ve decided to forego my remaining eligibility and begin my future career path,” Oliver said in a statement. “Even though I’m going to miss football, I’m really excited to take on a new challenge.”

Oliver broke the state record for receptions with the Rangers, catching 308 passes for 4,567 yards and 56 touchdowns before graduating in 2013. He finally emerged as a valuable weapon in the Texas passing game last season, finishing with 33 receptions, which was second on the team.
