Reaugh Paces Lady Scots in McKinney

Emma Parker and Highland Park placed fifth in the 4×800 relay at the recent McKinney Boyd Relays at Ron Poe Stadium.

Highland Park finished sixth in the team standings at the McKinney Boyd Relays on Feb. 25, bolstered by strong performance by Falyn Reaugh.

The senior Oklahoma signee won a gold medal in the high jump and was second in the triple jump. She also placed fifth in the 300 hurdles and contributed to HP’s third-place finish in the 4×100 shuttle hurdle relay.

The HP boys competed at a meet in The Colony on Feb. 23, with Turner Coxe claiming second place in the shot put and third in the discus. Varun Ravi came in third in the 300 hurdles.

The Scots will return to action on Thursday at the Rigsby Relays in North Richland Hills, while the Lady Scots will head to the Coppell Relays on Saturday.
