HP Wrestlers Hosting January Meets

As the regular season cools down, Highland Park’s preparation for postseason tournaments is heating up.

The Scots recently finished in 10th place in the Class 5A division at the State Duals meet in El Paso. In pool play, they dropped matches against Saginaw Chisholm Trail and Dripping Springs, and defeated El Paso Chapin. Later, HP lost to El Paso Hanks in the championship match of the bronze bracket.

After hosting the HP Duals on Jan. 20, the Scots will compete at home against on Saturday in the annual Scot Super Six event.

And on Feb. 8, HP will travel to the District 9-5A tournament in Carrollton, where the Scots will face competition from Carrollton Creekview, Newman Smith, R.L. Turner, Lancaster, Lovejoy, McKinney North, Wylie East, Anna, Melissa, and Princeton.
