HP Kicker Earns National Honor
After a stellar senior season, Highland Park kicker Matteo Cordray has earned an honorable mention spot on the Kicking World All-America Team.
This season, Cordray made all 81 of his extra-point attempts in addition to 13 field goals, making him responsible for 120 points, which ranked fourth among kickers nationwide.
During the Scots’ run to the Class 5A Division I state championship, Cordray made clutch field goals in the fourth quarter of victories over Mansfield Timberview and Mansfield Lake Ridge. He has committed to play in college at Army West Point.
