Alcuin School Graduates First Senior Class
The Alcuin School commemorated its inaugural graduation ceremony at the Belo Mansion in downtown Dallas on May 24.
The ceremony featured keynote speaker Global IB Director General Dr. Siva Kumari, who commended the students on their achievements and accomplishments.
Exceeding the average threshold for academic performance, students of the graduating class each received an average of $100,000 in scholarships.
“It has been an amazing journey for our first senior class who are Alcuin’s educational trailblazers,” said Alcuin Head of School Walter Sorensen. “They have all worked so hard and with so much dedication to achieve their academic goals through the IB program. These young people are truly inspirational and our faculty and staff have been so proud to have been part of their success.”
