California’s Johnny Was Opens in NorthPark Center

Straight out of California, luxury boho-chic fashion brand Johnny Was is set to open June 15 at NorthPark Center.

If you aren’t already familiar, Johnny Was is an LA-based lifestyle brand whose collections embody the Southern California aesthetic. Founded in 1987, the brand has a bohemian spirit and a true sense of authenticity and is a favorite with celebrities like Heidi Klum, Hillary Duff, Emily Ratajkowski, Selma Blair, and Mila Kunis who love the brand’s exquisite embroidery and effortless silhouettes.

“With the success we’ve had in Texas, opening another location seemed like a natural next step,” said Rob Trauber, CEO of Johnny Was. “We have a store in Houston, Austin, Plano, and San Antonio. Dallas has been on our radar for a long time and after looking at a few other locations, it was clear that NorthPark was the only place for us to be.

“Dallas is a wonderful community on a grand scale that integrates color, arts, culture, and fashion. The location and city really complement our brand,”

To celebrate the grand opening, an in-store launch event is scheduled Friday, June 15 with sweets, treats, and 20 percent off entire purchases.

The walls in the 1891 square-foot boutique will feature original artwork from artist Sage Vaughn, has exhibited his work throughout the world.
