The morning after their scrimmage against Plano East, the Highland Park football player committee will host a youth football clinic.
As they prepare to start the season later this month, the Highland Park varsity football team’s player committee is taking time out to raise money for an important cause.
The players will host a youth skills clinic from 11 a.m. to noon on Aug. 25 at the indoor workout facility across the street from Highlander Stadium. The clinic is open to boys in kindergarten through sixth grade.
The only cost is a suggested $25 donation per participant to Tackle World Hunger, an organization that helps to fund nutrition, education, and medical expenses for impoverished children around the world. No advance registration is required.
