Founder Kari Feinstein of Enlighten MD has changed the name of her medspa located in Preston Hollow to the Enlighten Building as she adds several new additions. The building currently features a medspa, women’s boutique, and event space, with a full-service salon opening in June. She also plans to add beauty suites featuring a celebrity make-up artist in the fall.
“The latest series of expansions at Enlighten, including the opening of the Enlighten Living boutique, has allowed my ultimate dream to come true; creating a one-stop shopping experience,” she said.
The Enlighten Building is located at 5232 Forest Lane.
Feinstein was born in Toronto but grew up in the Dallas Fort Worth area. She moved to Preston Hollow 14 years ago.
The new Enlighten Living Boutique features apparel, accessories, and athleisure wear from in-demand lines such as Ultracor, Zadig & Voltaire, L’agence, BA&SH Paris, and Lauren Moshi, with a special selection of products from locally-based designers, as well.
The event space features a catering kitchen, A/V equipment, and room for up to 75 guests. It can host anything from yoga workshops to charity meetings to cocktail parties, providing both luxury and privacy.
The Enlighten salon will allow guests to get it all done at once, Feinstein said, “I recognize that time is precious. I wanted to be able to accommodate the beauty and lifestyle needs of my clients efficiently.”
Highlights of the salon include six stylists who offer complete color, cut, and styling services. It will also stock its shelves with coveted product lines like Oribe.
In the fall, Feinstein plans to open 13 new suites making up the Enlighten Beauty Suites to round out the self-care experience. These will feature a celebrity make-up artist.
“My overall goal is to create an environment where taking care of yourself feels as healthy as exercise,” she said.
Feinstein’s award-winning medspa was named one of Allergan’s Top 500 Medspas in the nation.
