Biediger Leads HP Girls at Pecan Valley
Highland Park senior Sophie Biediger was the runner-up at the Heart of Texas Invitational golf tournament on Saturday in Fort Worth.
Biediger fired an opening-round score of 72, then scored a birdie on the playoff hole after the second round at Pecan Valley Golf Course.
The Lady Scots collectively finished 13th out of 31 teams with a quintet including juniors Allison McCain and Claire Wiebe, sophomore Landry Saylor, and freshman Grace Heiss.
