Scots Drop Two Games to Start Season

When inclement weather scrapped Highland Park’s first baseball tournament of the season, the Scots still managed to find a couple of games against some top Class 6A competition.

HP lost 6-5 to Rockwall-Heath and 5-1 to Allen during a doubleheader on Friday in Heath. Preston Gamster homered for the Scots (0-2) against the Hawks.

The Scots will search for their first victory of the season this weekend at a tournament in McKinney and Prosper. HP will face Celina, McKinney, Sachse, Richardson Pearce, and Sherman during the three-day, round-robin event.
