Faith Friday: Fall Kickoff At SMAA
Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church is gearing up for its annual fall kickoff.
The festivities are from 9:45 to 11 a.m. August 14 in the garden cloister of the church at 8011 Douglas Avenue.
Attendees will enjoy a caricaturist, refreshments, and a book signing for the debut of the brand new children’s book Stories From The Bible, From Creation to Pentecost based on the favorite sermons of Father Harmuth from the 9 a.m. Joy Service.
Backpack blessings will take place at all 9 and 11 a.m. worship services, so all ages are encouraged to bring their school and work bags to be blessed.
