SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: FOOT LOOSE
A vehicle thief was spotted by Dallas police driving a stolen truck before 7:34 p.m. in the 5400 block of West Lovers Lane Aug. 14. When the driver saw the police, they took off on foot.
8 Monday
Before 12:59 p.m., a burglar entered a man’s car and stole money in the 9900 block of Hollow Way Road.
An unknown burglar took property from a car parked at Pavilion on Lovers Lane before 2:19 p.m.
A woman’s gun was stolen before 4:16 p.m. in the 6400 block of Orchid Lane.
9 Tuesday
Before 7:22 a.m., an injured person report was filed in the 11200 block of Northland Circle.
A burglar entered a man’s car and stole his stuff before 7:59 a.m. outside a home in the 5400 block of Edlen Drive.
A man was given a criminal trespass warning but lied to police about his name and date of birth at NorthPark Center before 10:01 a.m.
Left open before 3:11 p.m.: a home in the 6500 block of Aberdeen Avenue.
A burglar shattered a woman’s car window and stole property at NorthPark Center before 3:42 p.m.
10 Wednesday
A woman was harassed by an unknown heckler at a home in the 4500 block of Glenwick Lane before 2:04 a.m.
Someone pointed a gun at a man and put him in fear of serious bodily injury before 11:53 a.m. in the 6400 block of Meadow Road.
An abandoned vehicle was found before 4:34 p.m. in the 4400 block of West Northwest Highway.
Reported before 5:27 p.m.: A catalytic converter was stolen from a van at Preston Forest Shopping Center.
Stolen before 8:43 p.m.: a man’s vehicle from Le Parc Apartments in the 8600 block of Turtle Creek Boulevard.

A man found property in the 9300 block of Hollow Way Road before 10:51 a.m.
A robber displayed firearms at a woman then took property from her before 3:36 p.m. at NorthPark Center.
There was a hit and run before 4:30 p.m. in the 8300 block of Westchester Drive.
Before 4:33 p.m., a man’s vehicle was stolen from the NorthPark Center parking lot.
At Preston Forest Shopping Center before 5:15 p.m., property was found.
A woman’s property was reported lost before 7 p.m. at Preston Forest Village.
Police responded to stolen property at NorthPark Center at 7:13 p.m.
