HP Dominates in Lacrosse Season Opener
Highland Park made a statement in its first lacrosse game of the season by blasting Dripping Springs 20-0 on Sunday at Highlander Stadium.
The Scots (1-0) earned their first shutout of the year — they had two last season — and reached the 20-goal plateau for the first time since last February.
HP won a Texas High School Lacrosse League state title in 2023 but fell in the semifinals a year ago. The Scots will hit the road next weekend for games against Cypress Woods and Houston Strake Jesuit.
