HP’s Muenker, Collard Set for Regionals
Highland Park’s top boys doubles tandem is heading to the Class 5A Region II tennis tournament.
Collier Muenker and Pierce Collard placed second at the District 12-5A tournament on April 15 in Allen. They reached the championship match before falling to Gavin Gonzales and Pranav Kumar of Frisco Reedy.
That enabled the duo to advance to the regional tournament beginning Thursday in Melissa, where they will have a chance to qualify for the state tournament the following week in San Antonio.
