Mullen & Mullen Tees Up Golf Outing for Local Charities

The Friends of Mullen & Mullen Charity Golf Outing returns to Las Colinas Country Club on May 19th for its third year, offering a fun-filled day of golf that gives back to the North Texas community. Hosted by Dallas-based Mullen & Mullen Injury Law Firm, the public event raises funds for nonprofits supporting children, veterans, and underserved families.

The outing kicks off with a 7 a.m. registration and a 9 a.m. shotgun scramble, followed by a BBQ lunch, awards, and raffle prizes. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit five impactful local organizations: Scottish Rite for Children, Divine Equine Therapeutic Riding Center, At Last! Urban Boarding Program, Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation, and Fire Horse Refuge.

Last year, the event raised over $100,000, and this year’s goal is an ambitious $200,000.

Attorney Shane Mullen, managing partner of the firm and longtime DFW resident, leads the initiative. “This is our backyard,” said Mullen. “We’re not some out-of-town firm. We live here, we work here, and we believe in giving back to the community that built us.”

From funding trauma therapy for veterans through horse riding, to helping underserved students succeed, the tournament’s beneficiaries make a lasting difference in the region. Sponsorships and player spots are still available, and the event is open to the public.
