Highland Park High School theater students will transport audiences to a world of glory and adventure with the story of a young prince who, struggling with the hand he’s been dealt, attempts to build an extraordinary life during next week’s production of Pippin.
Featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the production runs from Oct. 16 to 19 in Highland Park High School’s Palmer Auditorium. Showtimes are at 7 p.m. on Oct. 16, 17, and 18, and at 2 p.m. on Oct. 19.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online for $12 on the balcony and $15 for reserved seats.
The show is directed by Brittany Murphy, with Esra Melech as the Leading Player, Jaron Pierce as Pippin, Carter York as Charles, Leya Qureshi as Fastrada, Sage Rockow as Berthe, Camille Huckaby as Catherine, Luka Anderson as Lewis, and Mark Zantop as Theo. Choreography is by Armoni Adamson and Joseph Burnam is the technical director.
